Senior Java Developer

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to work for a
market leader working closely in conjunction to the
Telecommunications Industry.

Our client based in the Sydney CBD is seeking a Senior Java Developer
to start ASAP. This is an exceptional career opportunity for someone
who is looking for challenging position in a fast paced and dynamic
working environment.

My client is an Australian owned company that sells products &
services to Telecommunications companies. They are looking for a
qualified developer with previous Test & configuration experience to
manage the SDLC.

The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 4-5 years of Java experience
Good working knowledge of SQL
Good working knowledge of Unix & shell scripting programming
Good understanding of XML data processing
Good understanding of configuration management
Good understanding of testing processes
Ability to build test harnesses
Good interpersonal skills & customer focus
Desire to develop & learn as well as assisting others to develop &
learn
Strong Communication skills - Verbal & written
Telecommunications Industry experience is highly Desirable
Experience with Oracle or as an Oracle DBA Desirable
Within this role you will be:

Developing Java programs, assisting in the product development &
Support
To improve regression testing & enhancing existing test harnesses
Improving your knowledge about their product & application within
Telecommunications
This is a key role within the organisation as you will be taking
charge of a team of established developers, passing on your
exceptional knowledge of the whole SDLC from start to finish & the
importance of each stage.
